Unless otherwise stated, our sterling silver is not rhodium plated, so tarnishing over time is likely. No need to worry, this is completely normal and easily reversible! We recommend using a sterling silver cleaning wipe to polish away any tarnished areas. Do not put amber jewelry through a jewelry cleaning machine or use harsh chemicals, as they will ruin the stone!

While we stand by the quality of our products, normal wear and tear can be expected. Due to the porous nature of amber, exposure to water should be limited. We recommend removing jewelry while washing hands, cleaning, and showering. We also recommend avoiding extreme temperature fluctuations or direct and prolonged sunlight, as these things can also negatively affect the stone and its setting. Please also note that amber will inevitably change color gradually over time. This is a normal result of simply being in contact with oxygen, and should not be cause for concern.
